How The Sun Affects Our Health

No amount of words can describe how important the Sun is to the way our bodies work. The Sun is so important to a person’s overall health and happiness that it should never be left out of a natal chart. All life force, energy, or prana comes from the Sun. The sign it is in will tell us how the energies are being used in this lifetime.
From a metaphysical point of view, the Sun is our Heart Chakra, which is where our feelings flow. Dr. William Davidson has called it “the flow of life.” It controls the etheric body, which is a very thin, web-like filament that wraps around the physical body. It is the container for the energy that flows into the physical body every day and keeps it working.
Because we have an etheric body, X-rays, radium, and electric burns hurt the physical body so much. If the invisible, high-frequency rays burn the etheric, the container around the physical shell gets a hole, and water starts to leak out.

This condition can sometimes be helped by taking vitamins, minerals, cell salts, herbs, or other internal or external aids. Davidson seems to be saying that goose grease applied to the outside will help to seal the etheric so that the Sun’s energy doesn’t leak away. Sunshine and vitamin A are also good for you in small amounts.
When a person gets sick, there may be a hole in the etheric web, though this is not always the case. A medical astrologer who can see auras will notice that the organ or part of the body that is sick, broken, or not working as well as it should is pulling in the aura in that area of the egg shell oval that surrounds the body. This happens because more energy is being taken from other places and pumped into the hole to keep it working at all. If someone can see through the physkal shell, a sick organ will also look yellowish-green. But unless they are clairvoyant, medical astrologers should use the chart and lab tests to figure out what’s going on.

On the physical plane, the Sun is the source of life, or the thing that gives our bodies life. His star sign is Leo, which is the heart sign in medicine.
When the heart is slow or not working well, the whole body suffers.
We could look at the Sun as a machine. If you don’t eat right, the engine may stall or sputter. And the energy that Mars gives us is wasted if we don’t have a good engine. On the other hand, if we pay attention to what we eat and get regular checkups, we can stay in great shape.
We need enough vitamin A to have a strong, beating heart, which is our life force. If a person doesn’t get enough of this important vitamin, there will be a short in the circuitry, and he or she may get a heart problem, even though most heart problems are caused by the Fixed Cross. Lack of vitamin A can lead to a number of heart problems, including angina pectoris, arteriosclerosis, atherosclerosis, myocarditis, and congestive heart failure.

Magnesium, which is found in large amounts in most green plants, is also ruled by the Sun. There is a direct chemical link between the Sun, ehlorophyl, and magnesium. Without the Sun, there would be no ehlorophyl and no magnesium.
And the body has so much magnesium that we can’t live for very long without it. Having too little magnesium can cause a long list of health problems. With too little magnesium, you will die.
